One of Young Dolph‘s suspected killers apparently have some enemies behind bars … because he was recently attacked by another prisoner.
Justin Johnsonwho is in custody on a number of charges, including first-degree murder, was beaten by a fellow inmate in Tennessee’s Shelby County jail while in the middle of a phone call Friday … his lawyer tells TMZ.
Johnson’s attorney, June Ganguli, says JJ was on the phone in the prison’s visiting area when an inmate went and put power on him. We are told there is nothing about a motive and Johnson was not seriously injured.
A representative of the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office tells TMZ … there was an incident Friday that involved Johnson and another inmate, and it’s under investigation. We are told that no injuries have been reported.
Remember … Johnson was named as the suspect in the murder of Young Dolph earlier this year, and in January he was captured and arrested of US Marshalls. He claims he is innocent.
Johnson is a rapper in the Memphis area who uses the artist name Straight Drop … and he seems to have recorded a music video back today in the same Tennessee home where police found what they believe is getaway car used in Dolph’s murder.
