What happens to Eloise in the Bridgerton books?

Spoilers ahead for boats Bridgerton book series and season two of the TV adaptation.

Eloise is one of the most beloved characters on Bridgerton. Played by Claudia Jessie, she is the witty, feminist middle sibling of the Bridgerton clan who refuses to abide by social norms and who is often seen trying to plan her way out of the balls and promenades that her mother so desperately wants her to attend.

In season two, Eloise makes her community debut with her mother, Violet Bridgerton (Ruth Gemmell), hoping she’s as successful in the marriage market as Daphne (Phoebe Dynevor) was the year before. Still, she refuses to get involved and sneaks off to try to find out who Lady Whistledown is, and meets Theo Sharpe (Calam Lynch), a printer assistant and revolutionary, in the process.

As Jessie describes Eloise’s bow: “We see her enter society, and as she describes in the series, this crazy ritual where you dance for your partner. And we see her fight in that environment but not lose the spunky integrity that “We love Eloise. We see her great humor in how she branches out and explores new ways of thinking about female autonomy and being independent. And not being her sister and being okay with it.”

Although Theo and Eloise have a quarrel at the end of the season, caused by Penelope alias Lady Whistledown, it is clear that Eloise cares deeply about Theo. Still, Theo is not in the books, so many viewers are curious:

Who does Eloise end up with Bridgerton books?

Unfortunately, the answer is not Theo Sharpe.

IN To Sir Phillip, with love, the fifth Bridgerton Order, Eloise has been christened a spinster for being single as a 28-year-old, and she’s fine with that. She wants more out of life than getting married – but after her best friend Penelope has found love, she begins to doubt her own choice to remain single. Enter Sir Phillip Crane, a moody widower and single father whose unexpected courtship changes her life from one day to the next. Spoiler: they end up living happily ever after.

Is Sir Phillip Crane in the series?

Yes: Sir Phillip (Chris Fulton) is introduced at the end of season one and he is seen again in season two as the husband of Marina Thompson (Ruby Barker). He marries Marina after his brother, George Crane, dies during the war, leaving Marina pregnant. In one scene, Colin takes Bridgerton (Luke Newton) to visit Marina, and she tells him “we are not all guaranteed an adventurous ending.” Phillip and Colin bond over their travels and that’s all we see for him this season.

Ville that Bridgerton series introduce Sir Phillip if he was not meant to be the playoffs for Eloise? What’s going to happen to Theo?

We just have to wait patiently for season three of Bridgerton.
