Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir Plays 2 Shows at Knox United Church in Parksville – Parksville Qualicum Beach News

The Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir will play two concerts at Knox United Church in Parksville next month.

Both concerts, Friday 1 April and Saturday 2 April, start at 7 pm and provide two evenings of beautiful Celtic-inspired choral music led by music director Jonathan Quick and award-winning pianist Karen Lee-Morlang.

A release of Knox United Church read Vancouver Welsh Men’s Choir is motivated by a shared passion for creating music that is warming, resounding and infectious. The choir consists of about 100 auditioned members, led by professional musicians.

They are a diverse group of individuals, all coming together from different cultures and backgrounds (not just Welsh). However, they all have one thing in common: the passion for singing. They love to perform both traditional and contemporary choral songs and always have fun with each other, with our audience and with their music.

Ticket information is available through www.eventbrite.ca or through local retailers, Fireside Books and Close To You Fashions.

All provincial health orders regarding COVID-19 will be followed for both performances.
