Urbana faces “growing pains” this season | WDVM25 and DCW50

IJAMSVILLE, Md. (WDVM) – Urbana boys’ lacrosse fell in its home opener Tuesday night 13-5 to Sherwood.

“You know we have a lot of guys there [are making] their first college start ever, ”Hawks head coach Gavin Donahue said after the game. “As a coaching team, we know there will be some growing pains and we just have to keep getting to work every day in practice and getting better every day, and by the end of the season playing our best lacrosse.”

These growing pains refer to the Hawks’ five offensive weapons, which they lost last season to the exam – all of these five players continued to play Division I lacrosse.
