Toronto police are searching for a missing woman, 20, last seen in the Scarborough Junction area

Sonya Maclellan, 20, was last seen on March 18 near the Kennedy and Merrian roads.

Toronto police are asking for the public’s help in finding a missing 20-year-old woman.

Sonya Maclellan was last seen Friday, March 18, at noon in the Scarborough Junction area, near the Kennedy and Merrian roads, south of Eglinton Avenue East.

Maclellan is described as five feet six and 160 pounds with a strong build and medium length, curly orange / blonde hair. She was last seen wearing beige shoes with heels, a beige sweater and light blue jeans.

Investigators are concerned about her safety.

Toronto police are reminding the public that a person can be reported missing at any time, noting that there is no mandatory 24-hour waiting period.

“If you are concerned about someone’s immediate safety, call 911. Otherwise, you can report a person missing to the Toronto Police Service by calling the non-emergency number, 416-808-2222,” they said in a press release.
