Carrie Bickmore has unveiled a new tattoo – a sweet tribute to her three-year-old daughter Adelaide.

Speaking on Hit Network’s national drive show Carrie & Tommy, the TV host revealed the very special meaning behind the design.

Carrie Bickmore has unveiled a new tattoo – a sweet tribute to her three-year-old daughter Adelaide

‘You may have seen on my Instagram a few weeks ago when I was away, Chris sent me a video of [her daughter] Addie,’ she said.

‘She was missing me and she has this little saying. She says to me, when she wants me to know that she loves me, this is what she says – ‘”Hi mum I love you, heart to heart.”

‘And she makes a little heart symbol with her fingers.’

‘I can’t have her with me at all times because I’ve got stuff to do.

‘So I thought, why not have it with me in spirit and I’ll get two little hearts tattooed on my wrist so I can look down and always think of her saying, “I love you mum, heart to heart”.’

Carrie has three children – she has a son Oliver, 15, with her late husband Greg Lange. She also shares two daughters, Adelaide and Evie, seven, with her partner Chris Walker.

It comes after Carrie shared with fans the exhausting leg exercise she attempted at the gym, but only managed to last 30 seconds.

She posted a video to Instagram last month of herself performing a challenging reverse bicycle workout.

The super-fit mother of three used her arms to support her weight as she rhythmically thrust her legs back and forth to dance music.

A personal trainer cheered her on off camera by saying, ‘Come on, Carrie, let’s go,’  which gave her the extra push to reach the half-minute mark.

Carrie was proud of herself for reaching her target time without stopping.

In the caption of the video, she said she ‘fell apart at the end but got to 30 seconds’.

Carrie previously spoke of her healthy lifestyle in an interview with Women’s Health.

She said a combination of Pilates, running, CrossFit and eating a balanced diet help her stay in shape.
