Dragon Ball Super has shared an update to its latest trailer following Dragon Ball Super: Super Heros’ surprisingly sudden delay! Toei Animation was hit by a massive hack that had an impact on all of the studio’s major anime projects that are currently underway. The study has not yet revealed to the public how much damage the hack had done to their various projects, but ever since, many of them have been put on indefinitely for the foreseeable future. Unfortunately, this means that even the planned April launch of Dragon Ball Super’s new feature film has also been held back.
Originally scheduled for release in Japan next month (and followed by a release in North America later this summer), Toei Animation has officially set Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero on indefinite duration. It remains to be revealed when the film will actually premiere, and it is unfortunately further highlighted by the latest trailer for the film, which removed the previous “April 2022” release date and roadshow promotional material with an ominous “coming”. soon “instead. Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero has been put on indefinitely, but it is not yet revealed whether this will have an effect on the North American release yet. It was last confirmed to hit this summer, but that was of course before the delay. It’s just a matter of seeing how much delay the new film will have.
