Prince Harry and Meghan Markle anticipated to stay at Frogmore Cottage when they return for Platinum Jubilee

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced their return to the UK next month for the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

In anticipation of their arrival, security measures are increasing near Windsor’s Frogmore cottage where the couple and their two young children are set to be staying.

The property is currently occupied by Princess Eugenie, her husband Jack Brooksbank and their son August.

Harry’s cousin is set to open up the guest bedrooms for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s family, per a report in The Sun.

Last year, Harry stayed at the cottage when he returned to the UK for his grandfather, Prince Philip’s funeral.

Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that they will be attending the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee festivities, together with Archie and Lilibet.

“Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are excited and honoured to attend The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee celebrations this June with their children,” a spokesperson for the couple said.

This will be the first time the Queen will meet her great-granddaughter, Lilibet.

Earlier this month, the former royal couple were spotted making a secret trip to Windsor to meet with the Queen and Prince Charles.

Meghan and Harry flew into the UK from their home in California for a face-to-face visit with the monarch at Windsor Castle and also stopped in to see the Prince of Wales.

A spokesperson for the couple confirmed the duo visited Harry’s grandmother, Queen Elizabeth before they embarked on a trip to the Netherlands on April 16 for the 2022 Invictus Games.
