“Okta is aware of the reports and is investigating,” Okta spokesman Chris Hollis told CNN in a statement. “We will provide updates as more information becomes available.”

The company’s software allows companies to authenticate the identities of their customers and employees. According to its website, Okta has more than 15,000 customers.

Reuters first reported that Okta was investigating reports of a possible digital breach after hackers appeared to post screenshots of what they claimed was internal company information.
