Music event a big hit

The Lions Club of Taylor Lakes invites the community to its upcoming covid recovery event Music and Picnic in the Park on Sunday, April 10 at Taylor Lakes Linear Park.

It is the second iteration of the event after last year, which attracted over 1000 people.

The free event will feature a wide range of live music, including acoustic, band, original metal / modern, jazz, pop and rock from various artists.

Artists include The McAvaney’s, Redline and Cinco Savage on the main stage throughout the afternoon, as well as other local and acclaimed tracks.

As part of the event, a number of food carts will be on site, including the famous Lions sausage system, 20 market stalls with crafts, products, plants and other items.

An entertainment area for children will also be at the event with a variety of activities on offer including shows, balloons, twisting, face painting, a clown and more.

The event, which is supported by the Brimbank Council’s covid recovery grant, starts at 10.00 and runs until kl. 16.00.
