Mayim Bialik claims to be the victim of an advertising “hoax”.
The 46-year-old actress has taken to social media to distance herself from a series of online commercials using her name to sell CBD rubber.
In a post on his Twitter account, Mayim wrote: “Hello everyone. So… awkward: there are many untrue things floating around on the internet about many public figures, but I would like to talk about one about me that looks very authentic, but which is actually a scam. I do not sell CBD Gummies of any kind and do not plan to do so at any time in the future. (sic) “
On Facebook, several product sites are currently claiming to sell Mayim’s CBD gums.
The actress does not actually support the product, but she has not been able to get the ads removed.
She wrote: “I have tried to get this removed without success. It is not true.”
Meanwhile, Mayim recently revealed that she would “love” being named ‘Jeopardy!’S permanent host.
The actress was originally hired to host some primetime specials and spin-off runs of the beloved quiz show before being asked to fill out as a day host. Mayim admits she would love to have her contract renewed in the coming months.
She said, “I would love that.
“I like to say that I’ve been living season to season since I was about 13 years old. So what I do know is that I’m hosting until May 6th, and hopefully beyond.
“Hopefully I know more by May 6.”
Mayim could become the program’s first full-time female host, and she would enjoy the opportunity to present the show.
She added: “I think being a woman is its own character. My grandparents were immigrants to this country, so I think it blows my mind to be a woman and host for two generations in the iconic role .
