MILWAUKEE – Visit Milwaukee on Tuesday will land in Washington, DC to make its final pitch and try to secure the 2024 Republican National Congress for Brew City.
Fiserv Forum is one of the most important sites that will be used if the convention takes effect. At 11:15 a.m. Eastern Time, the delegation will have an hour to present their case, hoping to welcome nearly 45,000 visitors to the city and bring nearly $ 200 million into the local economy, according to estimates.
Milwaukee made its bid back in December last year, highlighting the city’s benefits of hosting the event – such as the close access to Lake Michigan, the entertainment options and the space offered by the Fiserv Forum and Wisconsin Center.
