“I mean, I was there with him one day when he ended the caliphate. He wanted to go out with a tweet. And it was like that – I do not like to talk outside of school. I hope not. But he said something in style. with, he was like, tell him like – yes, the tweet was – and I paraphrase – but it was like that, if you ever joined the caliphate and tried to do this, you would be dead, “said the rocker. “He goes, what do you think? I go, great … Like, yeah, tweet it out. I was like, I can not add anything better than.”
Kid Rock said the tweet Trump eventually sent was “reformulated and more political and just a little bit politically correct.”
The musician told Carlson that Trump at one point asked him, “What do you think we should do about North Korea?”
“I’m like, huh?” Kid Rock remembered thinking. “I do not think I am qualified to answer this.”
Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, said he originally met Trump in the White House after being introduced to the president through former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R).
He said it was “really strange” to “get phone calls from him and stuff like that. It’s just kind of mind-numbing.”
