KATE Lawler has revealed that she had to go to the hospital with a mysterious illness and admitted: “I need to make some changes.”
The 41-year-old Virgin Radio star, famous for being the first female winner of Big Brother, posted a message on Instagram.

She described Tuesday’s dramatic trip to the hospital as a “wake up call”.
Kate wrote: “Yesterday was pretty weird. Long story short, but I ended up in the hospital.
“Come home at 9pm and feel much better today. I need to make some changes to get better, both mentally and physically.
“But it’s easy to forget to take care of yourself when juggling so much. Still, it’s given me a wake up call.”


She ended by telling fans, “I hope you all are okay today. ❤️.”
Kate became famous in 2002 by winning Channel 4’s Big Brother, and continued to appear in the early celebrity version of Love Island in 2006.
The star built a successful career in radio and joined in 2019 the relaunched Virgin Radio as its drivetime host.
She recently bravely opened up that her mental health was declining after the birth of her daughter Noah, a.
The former Big Brother star said: “I internalized a lot of my emotions. I just did it at the time because I did not want to feel like I was dramatic.
“I mean, I felt suicidal, but not until about six weeks. But I really thought it was just a case of baby blues, and we were just going through a little tough time. I went in a spiral.”
Having to take Noah to A&E several times when she was a little baby even made Kate question whether her baby was “meant to be”.
