Kaley Cuoco says Kate Hudson knocked her out for the ‘Knives Out’ sequel – Deadline

Even as the second season of Stewardesses – an HBO Max show that Kaley Cuoco not only starred in but also produces – is about to fall, and the actress opened this week for Glamor magazine about a part that escaped.

Cuoco was asked if there was ever a role she wanted that she could not get, even after her success Big Bang theory.

“Oh yes. It was actually quite recent. It was the sequel to Knives Out, she told the magazine. “And I was convinced [the part was mine]. Kate Hudson ended up getting it. But I was so convinced that my bags were packed for Greece. And then I did not get it.

“I was so crushed. And I’m not [normally] crushed over roles. I had read chemistry, I had made zoom. And I did not get it. I cried and cried all night long. And it went to Kate, who is amazing. ”

But Cuoco did not stay down long. Already the next day, she said, she got a call regarding
Meet Cute, ”The film she shot with Pete Davidson last year. She would not read the manuscript, but eventually gave in.

“And when I did, I said, ‘This is the most magical little script.’ And I would never have gotten it if I did [got] Knives. I could not be happier with how things went. ”

Plus, she said, “maybe I’ll audition for the third.”
