Olivia Rodrigo and freshman Oscar winner Billie Eilish, each with seven awards, perform. Twice Grammy winner Lil Nas X, nominated in five categories, will occupy the stage, as will the six-time Grammy winner Brandi Carlileup to five own prizes and 12 times winner Lady Gaga, nominated for his latest record with Tony Bennett.

2022 Grammys opens with a performance from Silk Sonic—Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak. Other planned artists include BTS, Jack Harlow, Brothers Osborne, John Legend, Jon Batiste, HER, Chris Stapleton, Carrie Underwood, J. Balvin, Nas, Aymée Nuviola, Billy Strings, Maria Becerra, and Maverick City Music. Formerly announced performer Kanye West, nominated for five trophies this year, has been barred from appearing at the “Online Behavior Awards”, his representative confirmed to Variety, although Recording Academy and CBS have not yet commented.)
