Home and Away boys enjoy holiday together during production break

The boys of Home and Away have been enjoying a holiday together in Bali during the show’s production break, and from the looks of it, they seem to be having a wonderful time.

Kawakawa Fox-Reo (Nikau), Matt Evans (Theo) and Luke Van Os (Xander) have all taken to Instagram to post snaps from their vacation, with Matt writing: “Decided to stay one more week in bali and im so glad i did. swipe to 3rd photo to see how turnt up my phone is 😂”

The snaps contain pictures of all three of the boys as they lounge around in their hotel pool and make funny poses.

Meanwhile, Luke posted pictures from their adventures on trail bikes with the caption: “Why walk when you can risk your like on a trail bike #bali”

Matt Evans recently sat down with Digital Spy to talk about the way people react to his character Theo now versus when he first arrived in the Bay.

“They’ve stopped disliking him and started liking him!” he said.

“I feel like the fans have done a complete 180 on Theo. Coming in with his ego and the front he had, people just thought he was a cocky little kid when there was obviously stuff that had happened behind that.

“He was able to work out his problems and I think the fans can now empathise with him. His cheeky side isn’t a naughty cheeky anymore, it’s a bit more of a cute cheeky, people understand him,” he added.

Matt also talked about his character’s development and the transition from a troublemaker to the slightly softer guy that he is now.

“There were times where I was struggling to play some of the things I had to because I felt like such a naughty little kid, which is so different to me,” he said.

“I wanted to soften him but still keep the cheeky, fun, sarcastic side which I think I’ve managed to do. Obviously, it depends on the storyline and the things he goes through but I still want to be able to keep the cheeky smiley side to him which I still believe he has now.”

Home and Away airs weekdays at 1.45pm on Channel 5 and 6pm on 5STAR. First-look screenings air at 6.30pm on 5STAR and the show also streams on My5.
