Great British Radio has joined DAB as TV station Mike Osman officially prepares to launch the station on April 4, 2022 with the backing of millionaire plumber Charlie Mullins.
The service will offer popular music and interviews, combined with a strong emphasis on humor and positivity.

Mike previously hosted the breakfast show at Capital Gold and says the station will not have any scheduled news bulletins to keep the comedy afloat.
He says: “We want to make listeners laugh every ten minutes, so for us no news is good news. Everyone I talk to says they are exhausted by 24/7 news. It’s time for something else. ”
Charlie Mullins, the founder and former owner of Pimlico Plumbers, has provided financial backing and will chair the new station.
“I’m proud to support Great British Radio,” Charlie said. “It will be like a breath of fresh air and I think the public will love it!”
The station’s team includes people from Ottoman’s time at Capital and celebrity interviewers, including actor Sam Kane, host Linda Lusardi, actress Vicki Michelle, comedian Richard Digance and radio host Kevin King.
“We will offer a collection of voices, thoughts and life. Our recipe will include good laughs, good guests and good music. There will be showbiz guests plus interviews with ordinary people who have made a positive difference in their community,” he said. Mike.
“We will cover everyday topics such as health and nutrition. Our guests will have time to relax and get their point across. It’s about making a good impression and lifting the public mood!”
Great British Radio launches on DAB + on April 4 in Herts, Beds, Bucks, North London, Surrey and South London. The station will also be available via radio player at greatbritishradio.org.
