Police are looking for four armed robbers who entered a home in the Hollywood Hills early Wednesday and kept at least one person inside under gunfire.
Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department were called at 6 p.m. 01.05 to 2500 block Carman Crest Drive regarding a robbery in homes. A man inside the home was asleep when the masked robbers who stole several items from the residence broke in.
The man in his 30s told police he was being held under arms.
The victim identified himself as Anthony Farrer, the owner of Time Piece Gentleman, a watch company with a presence on Instagram and YouTube. He said he moved from Dallas to expand the business.
He was in the rental home with three other friends during the robbery. Farrer said someone went into his bedroom and demanded things and that three other people tied him up.
The robbers were wearing ski masks, he said.
The robbers left the area. Detailed descriptions of the uninvited guests were not immediately available.
They eased with things for tens of thousands of dollars, including a laptop and jewelry and cash.
No injuries were reported.
It was not immediately clear how the robbers entered the home.
