Police in the Peel region say a woman in her 70s was assaulted and robbed by two people in Mississauga on Tuesday night.
It happened near the Goreway and Etude drive just after 6 p.m.
At the time, police said the woman was walking in the area when she had her bag stolen by two people. The woman was slightly injured, police say.
A woman and a white man were seen fleeing the scene in a dark-colored vehicle, police said.
No other information has been released by police.
