Dianna Ross found herself trending on Twitter after her fans came across some wrong answers on Monday Danger!. The last danger! the category was singers, and the clue was: In 2021, at the age of 95, this singer achieved a Guinness world record for the oldest person to release an album of new material. “As usual, host Ken Jennings started with the contestant in third place – as in this case was Margaret Chipowsky.
“Which 95-year-old singer were you thinking of?” asked Jennings. “‘Who is Tony Bennett?” It is correct. So you add $ 9,800. You land with $ 18,800. Wow. A great effort.”
Chipowsky was not the only person who knew the answer. The legendary crooner himself, Tony Bennett, hinted on Twitter that he also knew the right answer.
Unfortunately, participants Finn Corrigan and Karen Johnson did not know the correct answer. The two contestants surprisingly guessed the same wrong answer, Diana Ross. The 77-year-old singer, who performed a fabulous performance at the 2019 Grammys, has millions of devoted fans … and many of them came out of the woodwork to share in their dismay. While there have been many more gruesome responses in Jeopardy history, this was the worst, according to Ross fans. Ross fans were so upset that participants took to Twitter after the broadcast to explain their wrong answer.
And despite all the shabby boa feathers, the memorable moment succeeded fantastically for one participant.
“That means with $ 18,800, Margaret Chipowsky, you’re our Jeopardy! Champion,” Jennings said. “From third place to Jeopardy! Champ just like that. “
