The trailer off Dasvi, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Yami Gautam and Nimrat Kaur, released on Wednesday, and it’s trending big time. However, this is the story of how Deepika Padukone reacted to the trailer. ICYMI, the trailer for Dasvi offers a dialogue in which Abhishek Bachchan is asked to convert a sentence into a passive voice. The sentence is: “Ranveer loves Deepika,” to which Abhishek cheerfully replies: “Everyone loves Deepika.” In response to the trailer, Deepika Padukone wrote in her Instagram story: “Thank you team Dasvi for love. I wish you all the best. “

Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachhan’s father and veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan wrote: “Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! Abhishek Bachchan’s sister and author Shweta Bachchan Nanda commented: “Love loves love. Break a leg.”

Prior to the release of the trailer, Abhishek Bachchan shared a comprehensive note on what the film means to him. An excerpt from his post read: “I have always been very reluctant to talk about my films, cross-border apologetic about my work. People call it humility or lack of confidence in what I have done. I want to change that. I want to “I want to be apologetic for this film. We have worked extremely hard and I deeply believe that we have made a good film. Dasvishows the story of a corrupt prime minister named Ganga Ram Chaudhary who decides to finish his education while in prison. Yami Gautam plays the lead role as a fierce cop, while Nimrat Kaur plays the role of Abhishek Bachchan’s power-hungry wife.
Directed by Tushar Jalota, Dasvi has been produced by Dinesh Vijan under the banner Maddock Films and Jio Studios. The film will be released on Netflix on April 7.
