A source close to Egypt’s national football team has revealed the truth about reports of the team’s star and Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah’s trip to Switzerland after Saturday’s Guinea-Bissau match against African nations in Cameroon. To distribute the best prize of ‘The Best’ ceremony 2021 organized by the International Federation on Monday.
Official sources said that Mohamed Salah did not request a visit to Switzerland, it has been reported, and he will not participate in Switzerland’s best festival due to his focus on the national team and preparations for the Sudan game.
The Outstanding Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, January 17, 2022 at the headquarters of the International Football Association (FIFA) in the Swiss city of Zurich, in line with public health measures.
The competition for the award is between Mohamed Salah, Argentina’s top scorer and Paris Saint-Germain player Lionel Messi and Polish goal machine Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski.
Mohamed Salah is vying for the award within the final list after coming third for the third time in 2018, behind Luka Modric and Cristiano Ronaldo.
