“Glycyrrhizic acid affects our blood pressure by acting on the kidneys, especially by disturbing the balance between sodium and water in our kidneys.
“Blood pressure is regulated by aldosterone, which binds to specific receptors to trigger a response.
“In simple terms, we can see aldosterone as the key, receptors as the keyhole, and the door to ‘reactions’.”
