White House claims Iran is ‘accelerating rapidly’ over Trump’s removal of US from Iran nuclear deal

White House press secretary Jen Psaki shifted blame on Wednesday for the “aggressive actions” taken by Iran, claiming the country is “speeding up rapidly” because of former President Trump‘s decides to withdraw the US of the Iran nuclear deal.

Psaki said Trump’s decision left an “impact” and meant Iran’s nuclear program was “no longer boxed, no longer had the most robust inspection regime ever negotiated, no longer had the strict restrictions on nuclear activity. “

“Because of the last administration to withdraw from the nuclear deal, as Iran’s program is rapidly accelerating, Iran directly attacked our partners in the Gulf and its proxies began attacking US forces in Iraq again,” Psaki said. “The United States had become totally isolated internationally.”

Below the nuclear deal 2015 hit by the United States under the Obama administration, the world powers and Iran, sanctions against Tehran were lifted in exchange for Iran’s cooperation in limiting its nuclear program.
