Pop-up conversations at the Brooklyn Museum: Want to learn more about some of the Brooklyn Museum’s most important works of art? On Fridays, swing by the museum and enjoy a pop-up talk from one of the museum’s ART Guides. Free with entrance to the museum. 200 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn. 3 p.m. $16 for adults, free for ages 19 and under.
Screening of “Seven”: what’s in the box? Find out as Morgan Freeman and Brad Pitt investigate a series of murders that reflect the seven deadly sins in the classic movie ‘Seven’. The screening will be followed by a book signing with Adam Nayman. birding trips: Enjoy the fall weather and see the city’s wildlife during a birdwatching session at the New York Botanical Garden.
