Western Bulldogs midfielder Josh Dunkle is “certain” to stay out of the club this year.
Fox burst John Ralph reported on Friday night that the star midfielder would be a long-term commitment to the club.
During the 2020 trade period, Dunkley requested trade from Ascendant, but no agreement was reached.
He made a good start to the year before being sidelined with a shoulder injury.
Dunkle is expected to join Tom Liberator, who is expected to sign a two-year contract extension.
Bulldog CEO Amit Bains said the deal was imminent.
