After a long pause in the middle of a drink, Knightsbridge Penthouse is back in Canberra Times

News, breaking news, Knightsbridge Penthouse

The popular Braden cocktail bar Knightsbridge Penthouse reopened Friday night with some familiar vibes but a new location. The bar closed its doors in late 201 and owner Troy Sixmith has been teasing its return on social media since Christmas. Knightsbridge Penthouse has moved to 2 26 Mort Street, just below the door from its old location. You can expect a large space with some familiar decorations, including a piano-altered DJ deck and an array of vintage leather coaches. The watering hole was first opened in 200ally by Bray Sydney of New Acton’s parlor wine bar. In 2014, just before her 10th birthday celebration, she put it on the market. The new owner, SixSmith, announced that it had moved to July 201, which was the last drink in September of that year. Knightsbridge socialites have been hinting at a reopening date since Christmas, including a surprise opening in March that was postponed due to technical difficulties. Braden cheers on an old friend who returned to the nightlife scene. See Knightsbridge Penthouse’s Facebook page for more information.
