The U.S. Army contracts Oshkos Defense for new heavy-duty vehicles

The Defense Branch of the American truck manufacturer Oshkosh Corporation has been awarded a contract by the US Army Contractor Command for new heavy support vehicles.

The deal, announced by the US Department of Defense on Wednesday, is worth more than 2 million.

The agreement was made as part of the US military’s foreign military sales program.

The purchase of M978A4 Heavy Extended Mobility Strategic Truck Tackers, M984A4 Heavy Extended Mobility Strategic Truck Recorder and M1070A1 Heavy Equipment Transporters to Oshkos Defense in accordance with the Department of Defense’s contract declaration.

The work is expected to be completed in January 20223 in Wisconsin, where Oshkosh manufactures special trucks and military vehicles.

It is reported that the agreement was signed as part of Egypt’s support program and that new military vehicles have been made for the country’s armed forces.
